Afkar Menu

Privacy Policy

Afkar Menu is a restaurant ordering app. Unlike a purely offline app, it does handle your personal information — because it has to, in order to take an order and deliver it to you. This policy sets out exactly what is sent, to whom, and what never leaves your phone.

Application Afkar Menu Package com.odoostation.afkar.menu Effective 29 September 2026
Who handles your data

The app is published by odooStation, which supplies the software. Each restaurant that uses it runs its own server, and your orders and personal details go there — not to odooStation.

The restaurant responsible for the data you enter in this app is Afkar Technology, contactable at 2015sura@gmail.com. They decide how long your information is kept and who inside their business can see it. odooStation does not receive, store or have routine access to it.

At a glance

What the app sends to the restaurant

Everything below is sent only when you choose to do the thing that needs it. Browsing the menu sends none of it.

Sent to the restaurant's server
InformationWhen, and why
Phone numberWhen you sign in. The restaurant identifies your account by it, so your order history and loyalty points follow you.
Name, emailOptional, at sign-in. Used to address you and to send order confirmations if the restaurant offers that.
Delivery addressWhen you save an address: its label and its latitude and longitude, so the driver can find you. The coordinates come from your phone's location if you let the app read it, or from what you type. See Location.
Order contentsWhen you place an order: the dishes, sizes, add-ons and quantities you chose.
Order notesIf you write one. Whatever you type is passed to the restaurant, so avoid putting anything sensitive there.
Coupon codesWhen you apply one, so the server can validate it and price the order.
Payment methodYour choice of card, Apple Pay, digital wallet or cash on delivery — the choice only. See below.
The app never handles payment details

There is no card number, expiry date or security code anywhere in this app. Choosing "Card", "Apple Pay" or "Digital wallet" records only which method you intend to use; the payment itself is completed outside the app through the restaurant's own payment provider, or in person for cash on delivery. We cannot see your card, because we never receive it.

Location

The app reads your device's location for one purpose: pinning a delivery address. It happens only when you are adding an address and you tap to use your location, and only while the app is open on screen.

Android asks your permission the first time. If you decline, nothing breaks — you can type the coordinates into the address form yourself, and the rest of the app is unaffected.

When you do allow it, the app takes a single high-accuracy reading and puts the latitude and longitude into the address form, where you can still correct them before saving. Only those coordinates and the label you give the address are sent to the restaurant. The accuracy figure the phone reports is used on your device to warn you when a fix looks too vague to deliver to, and is not transmitted.

There is no background location. The app does not request background location permission, does not track you between orders, and cannot read your position when it is closed. If you delete a saved address, its coordinates go with it.

Order tracking shows the status and estimated time the restaurant reports for your order. It does not track your phone.

What stays on your device

Held in the app's private storage
StoreContents
afkar_customer_tokenThe sign-in token that keeps you signed in between visits. It identifies your session to the restaurant's server and is not readable by other apps.

Signing out or uninstalling the app removes this token from your device. It does not delete the account or order history held by the restaurant — for that, contact them using the address above.

What the app does not do

There is no advertising, no analytics, no attribution SDK and no crash-reporting service in this app. No advertising identifier is read. Nothing about your browsing or ordering is sent to odooStation or to any third party for marketing or measurement.

The app talks to exactly one destination: the server address configured for the restaurant whose branded app you installed.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app shows updates about your own orders and any offers the restaurant publishes. You can withdraw that permission at any time in Android's settings without losing the ability to order.

Children

This app is intended for adults placing food orders and is not directed to children.

Your rights and deleting your data

To delete your account, use the deletion page: odoo-production-3df9.up.railway.app/afkar/delete-account. You do not need the app installed to use it — enter the mobile number you order with and the restaurant will action the request. The page lists exactly what is removed and what is kept.

What deletion removes: your name, mobile number, email address, saved delivery addresses and their coordinates, your device's notification token, and your ability to sign in.

What it keeps, and why: your past orders and their invoices stay with the restaurant. Those are its own accounting and tax records, which it is required to keep, and they are separated from your identity once the account is deleted. You cannot erase the other party's books, and neither can we.

The restaurant named above is also the party to ask about access, correction or export of your data. Write to them at the address in the panel at the top of this page.

To remove what is on the phone itself, sign out, or clear it from Settings → Apps → Afkar Menu → Storage, or uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects this policy, an updated version will be published at this address and the effective date above revised.
